We also found a shop we had gone in last time that had official German "stuff" and I found the candle merry-go-round thingy mother had...I wanted to get one for our family tradition.     Beautiful morning as we left Andernach and cruised towards Cologne. The river traffic is noticeably heavier and bigger, with many more River Ships (barges), but the scenery along the river is beautiful.

    We spent the morning in the lounge, reading, talking, relaxing. Of interest on the river were the remains of the Remagen Bridge which was destroyed by the Allies in WWII. The movie, The Bridge ...

    Being a big business centre like Frankfurt, Düsseldorf has reinvented itself from being a trade and industrial city and the Medienhafen is a good example. This city harbour has been revitalised with three pretty cool looking Frank Gehry buildings which are definitely well photographed.     ... t know what he said, but I know he recognized the song. In my communications class we've been learning about different parts of communication and I'm certainly appreciating all non-verbal forms now. Anyways, he pulls up a YouTube video of a woman singing this song! Alas, it is no longer a mystery... The song DOES exist!!!

    At around 2am, the guests leave and Angela and I relax for a few moments before we head off to sleep. Tomorrow is Sunday.
