... not traditional Spanish shopping it does make life easier for us. Not only was there known brands (Paxo sage and onion stuffing mix, Weetabix) but also the occasional tannoy announcement in English too. For anyone in a motorhome or not wanting to take the car, the site runs a twice-weekly free shuttle bus to and from the store for two hours of shopping. It was with some reluctance that we tore ourselves away from our first Spanish site of the trip, Camping Can Coromines, after a relaxing ten days. Not only were the site facilities very good but the owners and their family who run it are very personable and helpful. David in particular enjoyed Marc's company, and the two would often chat and debate all sorts of topics, with much humour thrown in. A lovely man. I'm fascinated by the fact that time has stood still in these places while every Irish village and town has been ravaged by modernity (and maybe back again!) these places seem timeless, Mary and I had our honeymoon in Greece in 1981 and I can picture every street in Paros/Ios and even Santorini.
