... at 2am tomorrow! Fortunately, (1) we now have confirmed accommodations in Fez, and a driver from the Riad Dar Dmana will be there to pick us up at that early (late!) hour. (PS &#8211; a riad is a guesthouse with great Moroccan hospitality!) And (2), I am typing this journal entry happily ensconced in a 1st class train cabin, which is clean, does not smell, and (blissfully) is blowing cold A/C on us. We have learned from our past mistakes, you see.

And oh my, we had the best balcony seats in the house as the sun turned the scene to a rosy glow and the square came alive w/ smokey food stalls, snake charmers, jugglers, magicians, et al as darkness descended.<br><br>All in all, a most magical night to top off my fantastic adventures in Morocco.<br><br>

... next shop said we had to see him on the way back down and made up promise that we would. We carried on walking but Chris seemed to find it really hard so we had to go really slow and keep stopping to let him catch up with us. Eventually we made it to the refuge at about 3pm after stopping people on the way down and asking how much further we had to go!
