... along the boardwalk and scouted two potential dining spots. I will not bore you with more food pics; suffice it to say the meal was good - not exceptional. The setting was great along the Rhine in an old family run Gasthof Adler.

Tomorrow will be an easy drive back to Dan and Andrea's place - something under three hours.
Hope everyone is having a good Remembrance Day remembering what it was all about those many years ago!!

... waiter last night was homesick and missed his new baby, he is from the Philippines, very young guy - maybe 30 - so we inquire - turns out he has 4 kids, 2 ex-wives, and this new wife with the two newest kids. ... bar maid was from Georgia, I said, " What are you from Decatur?" Don't know why I said it, but, I was right and she was freaked of those moments. She actually came over to the table and showed Barb her US driver's license. That turned into a conversation about how she came to be in Bonn, how she liked it, difficulty of getting a work permit, etc., etc.

Back to Boy's to rest up for tomorrow's journey to Amsterdam.

... in the 1300's and absolutely amazing inside. There was carved wood everywhere and plenty of other things to look at. We all ordrered some drinks, a bretzel, and a halver hahn (cheese and bread platter). After sitting and relaxing for 2 hours or so, we decided it was time.
