        ... then phonics, Rowans been getting himself in a right muddle bless him. The teacher called me in the other day to ask what a Z was, said as we say Z. We say Zeed they said Zeeee. So funny. She couldn't understand what he was on about. The teachers have also found it strange how the children spell in phonics.         This was my first backpacking trip, and I honestly didn't prepare as well as I could have. For one thing, I packed WAY too much food (not to mention the fact that the avocados and cheese weren't super necessary for the trip).         ... it for any length of time to search for a job and live from there. I was so excited and offered them gardening in return. They were pleased and so was I! I caught the bus back, picked up my truck and headed out of that town. I was excited not to have to stay there any longer!

        It's was a great week spent in Watsonville seeing as how I spent half of it with other people out of it. I am very privileged and honored to be accepted wherever I go. Wxcited for what's ahead!

        ... made "friends" with the locals and is had a great time. I thought we should at least go to get a bite at Fisherman's Wharf or Cannery Row, but was Sunday...Mother's Day...and I couldn't even handle the traffic in...Monterey! We're OUT!
