      ... We thought we only had to worry about walking a mile to the beach, and the plan was to just chill on the beach and then grab a ride back to the first parking lot. But at the last moment our ride fell through and we had to cover the 12ish miles that we had completed over the last three days in one afternoon �� Somehow we made it back though, and at least I have a somewhat better idea of what not to do for the next trip ...

      ... train that came into the station while we were there. It had a load of passengers sitting in open carriages behind it, and the weather was once again beautiful for it.       ... lots of rich ladies tottering around. We park the RV outside one of many art galleries in town, selling paintings and sculptures for undisclosed sums. Dylan fancies a look in one so we wait for Taya to rise from her nap and head in. The owner is quite inviting bearing in mind we are obviously never going to buy one. The beach is a lovely white sand crescent, but its not a beach weather day so we explore the town instead.

      ... moved up the hill and I scrambled for the camera in the back seat. I was able to get a shadow picture of him. That encounter made the trip. I finished the road and before heading down into Fresno I was rewarded with one of the most spectacular sunsets.

      Off the mountain I was now more than 4 hours behind schedule. I booked it to San Jose and arrived at my aunt's with a big welcome. See Dione I do know my way to San Jose.
