We traveled to Spring, TX (near Houston) on Wednesday the 27th to prep for our big Friend-giving!!! Holly and Taerik Berry joined us at Kyle and Christy Scott's home for a holiday away from home. It was such a blast! We prepared turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, rolls, ...
It was double date night - Krista's brother wanted to go to a French restaurant so he could get Foie Gras (which is illegal in california). So, it was off to a French restaurant. Not exactly what I wanted, especially since I was about to spend 2 weeks in France.

... The Health Museum was an unexpected surprise. We had a ball playing with all the gadgets. One of the machines allowed you to photograph yourself and see yourself as a different sex and/or race. I was hogging that machine!
The Miller Theater was great too. We brought Rusty, chairs, and a picnic while watching Hairspray and a light show on a different night. A really cool place to take kids/dogs and relax.
