Merrill Inn Picton

Johnstown was cute. It had all these shops and random museums, like the museum of hardware and the museum of maple syrup. Supposedly there's quite a Mennonite community there. Also a broom store, antiques, pottery and other randoms. There were these little chocolate balls at the bakery called rum balls, I had to try one. Anyway, again...I'll put pics up when I get home, they are the best.

... Are" with Steph and Madie! -- try not to laugh too loud, it's embarassing! haha) But for real, I am going to miss everyone so much, and expect a very tearful goodbye at the bar on Sunday. For those of you who know me, know I am terrible with goodbyes, and for those of you who know me even better know I am not shy to let out a tear at the bar (Denise, Nick Kotel!) haha

I am extremely excited though! And cannot wait to share ...

Just here to reunite with the BF before heading down to Toronto and Niagara for the weekend! Absolutely nothing happening here.. I've only been here for a grand total of 3 days and it's already boring! :P Just grabbed him after his exam finished and walked to the mall and back, transferred everything from my pack back into evil duffel bag from hell [how i didn't miss thee..] and went to one of our friend's houses to crash for the night.

... which neither of us realised and so caused yet more confusion. I eventually got kicked off the campus and stuffed in a taxi headed to the mall, where I happily remained for 3 hours. However I chose to walk back, which while it wasn't complicated [it's one biiiig straight road], I grossly underestimated how long it would take. Carrying my carryon on my shoulder, still laden with my dirty travel clothes and other miscellaneous items ...

we spent three days at Consecon, just south of Trenton, we rode our bike thru the back country lanes, watched beautiful sunsets and Brent went to the airshow in Trenton, Jo stayed home and did her nails!!! Or something.
This is a lovely part of the country.

... river, the quickest border crossing ever! Checked the passports, no other security AT ALL! – especially after being practically fisked just to fly domestically out of SF it was a bit of a surprise. Canada is amazingly similar to the US and yet the Englishnes of it (and the French) are clear for all. They fly their flag as proudly as they do in the US, but here in Prince Edward County they fly the Union Jack alongside.

... at the marina and were surprised at how many yachts were from Georgetown C.I. (Robbie there is some serious money still there). We went to the casino and Eric lost $2.00. Onward to the revolving tower restaurant for a delightful lunch and had a birdseye view of the city. It was helpful to have John and Colleen pointing out places of interest.
