We had one last stroll around the laneways overlooking the caldera, one last meal at the excellent Pelican cafe and one last ice cream from our favourite sweet shop and one last soak in the Jacuzzi.

... port of call was the church at Imerovigli where we had been told by Thanes there was a celebration in honour of Saint Nicholas (this being both Sunday and the feast of Saint Nicholas). Well we headed up there, parked the car and found that we would have to enter the church to be involved. Feeling like we were intruding we decided not to go in. ... the time we made it to Oia. Sadly, Oia was virtually shut down. It was a shame to see what is clearly a beautiful village present itself as a virtual ghost town. We eventually found one place where we could eat and we relaxed with a wine to distract us from the pain our feet were feeling. Unfortunately the famed sunset did not happen due to some low lying cloud. We’ll try again another day...

The next bus back to Fira was nearly an hour away so we called a taxi to take us home.

... I looked down to the tray and saw that she got a McMuffin instead and knew that she was sad she didn't just say no thanks and got the muffin she was craving. So as we sat there waiting for our plane Megan ate her muffin slowly and reluctantly, while I read some more of my Stephen King book. 30 min later we headed down to our security checkpoint (I'm gonna get the hang of it one day) and sat waiting for our plane out to Santorini! Yiasou everyone, It's hard to believe we've already been away five months, having conquered four continents and now, our 15th country - Greece. ... island our transfer was waiting for us and we were taken to a hotel other than what we were booked for. The hotel actually gave us an upgrade to a 4 star hotel for the same price. The hotel from the outside was gorgeous, but the room lacked some good features, like something to hold the water in the shower instead of having the entire bathroom wet.... we walked around the town of Thira (or Fira) which is the main town in the island and grabbed ...

After lunch, we finally get to see the hotel room. Hotel Keti is the best hotel throughout our honeymoon! Best value for money and best view from the room!
