... br> Finally several members of the audience lay down whilst the elephants walked over them occasionally stopping to rest their feet gently on the bodies of the reclining tourists. I am not sure you could do this show back home, the public liability insurance would probably be prohibitive but no worry we don’t have that many elephants. ... was right. It's not until you get quite close that you can start to tell (presuming of course you didn't already know they were Lady Boys) that they were in fact once blokes. To have you're photo taken with one demanded a tip of 40 baht or more which isn't a lot so a fair price. I noticed a couple of tourists tipping in excess of 500 baht and so they must make a killing in tips everyday especially when you consider they perform 3 ...

... and, man, it had to weigh at least 150 pounds. She was so little, I don't know how she walked all over town with it. I paid her 20 baht because I felt bad for her.

The rest of the night consisted of hanging with the locals. I went to a off the beat restaurant with Pam and Aut on the back of motorcycle taxis. First for me again. The restaurant was owned by the same people as on the beach. I could tell because the menu was the same. ...
