    ... mid twenties, and a little humid. Nice to be back in shorts.

    ... we got the shuttle bus to the bus station, then my bus came at half 2 and I was on my way�� it was soo weird as we drove into a different time zone and the clocks went forward an hour so I lost an hour of my day somewhere!     ... with NSW and there is an hour time difference between it and Queensland. When Rich got back and after about an hour of playing we continued our drive up the coast. Drove past Burleigh Heads which looks spectacular. We continued our drive up the Gold Coast Highway to Surfers. Here we then drove over Chevron Island, what a fantastic place to live, and then continued up the coast stopping at a Hungry Jacks for some frozen raspberry and frozen cokes before getting home.     ... for a long trip down to Pancake Creek. We knew the lay of the land so coming in on dusk wasn't so bad a little lumpy but preferable to carrying on. The weather turn bad again at night & we were fine but the boat anchoring after us came a little too close for comfort but as it was all settled quickly no drama.     ... the bikes & then we can head north. It has been a great stop and we have caught up with so many friends that it has been hard to tear ourselves away, if you come here you will see what an idyllic spot it is. Hoping that those who are contemplating a trip so cheap & we are waiting!!

    Took some other friends out whale watching & we were lucky again they were really close each time. Finally got one or two reasonable photos!
