... in early. During the check-in process, we learned that she, and most of the nuns here, had relocated from India. She spoke flawless English, along with Finnish and Italian. The LP guidebook claims that this place is the cleanest hostel in Finland. This is likely to be true. Our room was spotless. As the old adage goes....cleanliness is next to godliness. ... some Finnish lollies that were like salty liquorice.
I thought I was doing quite well but 4 hours into the trip we hit some rough water and I started to get sea sick. We went up onto the deck but it was so cold and windy! We found a seat next to a window in the cafeteria which was much better.
We made it off the ferry and to our campsite pretty easily. And were relieved to get to bed. It had been a very long day!
