    ... experience and I did not even stop to think about my calorie intake.

    The time to say our goodbyes came round much too quickly but we leave in the hope that we will meet again before too long.

    Relatives you cannot choose but friends you can - with Kanu and his family, Chad and I have had the rare opportunity to gain both.

    Talk about absolute opposites.

    Here we are at one of the modern metropolises of Canada (Calgary) and nearby is Drumheller where there have been some very important finds of dinosaur bones.

    Our visit to the "badlands" combined with 35+ C temperatures certainly made one feel that you were back in the prehistoric age.

    ... br> On the Wednesday Toby was off work so they took us out for a few hours to see some of the local sites. There is not an awful lot to do as its not exactly a tourist town but we made the most of it.     ... that includes board. Bree got in contact with Rach from her hometown who we met at the Stampede to see if there was any work going on the ranch she is at. We had another offer from a lady who had 4 different ranches who were chasing a nanny as well as someone who can do some fencing, cut hay and a few other jobs.     ... shoes who was sleeping in the back of an old rusty ute and didn't quite fit the picture. Caravan dude had mates come and go revving motorbikes as they came and went. He had a clean white towel that hung over the door of his 70's caravan and parked beside was a nice shiny ute. Dunno what was goin on there, he had a nice ute but a ****** home?
