We decided that we couldn't keep buying £10 cocktails all night and headed back to find some food. We decided against revisiting Jane at Pizza Hut and instead went to Bua restaurant just off Silom road which seemed to have a decent thai orientated menu. ... This short flight took approximately 25 minutes. We spent most of it gawking are our first closer up look at the Himalayas. Retrieving our luggage and loading it only took minutes. We boarded our buses in Pokhara, then we wound our way along a zigzag route over the hills to Nayapul (the foot of the trail) where the work began. ... Gemini, Di and I went out to get a manicure/pedicure. The hotel had a beauty salon, and they seemed to offer the best deal. In the end it was 800 baht for normal polish on the toes and gel on the fingers. Not a bad deal as some we saw today wanted 1000 for normal polish. ... half of the original asking price!!! I think the vendor was quite amused with his bargaining skills!! He continued on to bargain on some toys that Noah wanted and saved Noah 200 baht. Brad wanted a charger of some sort and Kobe eventually found a vendor willing to sell to him for 250 baht instead of the 350 to 1000 baht that the others were charging. We were pretty impressed!
