I told him to go with the metre (as the hostel had advised). He pointed out various bits and pieces, including a little shanty town. ... see, so far the rain is not letting up. More to come later... 4/25/15 Afternoon. 16:15. Raining cats & tuk tuks. Somehow we managed to get to the train station before Buddah started to dump buckets of holy water on Bangkok. We have taken refuge in a small bar across from the train station. ****, a young Canadian couple who are Vancouver Canucks fans just sat down next to us. They are heading to Chaing Mai as well. A taxi to the hostel was uneventful, no hilarious dramas unfortunately, but my hotel is way nicer than I needed it to be. More like a proper hotel. All good, although it isn't particularly social, so I'm still lonely. Incidentally, the 'I'm roneree' song from Team America has been going around my head, partly for that reason, but also because one of the guests at the hotel looks oddly like the Kim Jong Il from the film. Like exactly like him.

... get an ice cold one from one of the vendors on the street! all my fellow beer lover friends out there will totally appreciate that!) Dessert.... I had to wait until after my foot massage for this. My chicken curry was really filling. Crepe with Nutella and Banana -$1.25 Total for the day....$12.00 That is less than I can buy one ****** sandwich at Lax airport. Life is pretty darn sweet over here in Asia. I'm looking forward to more of it Tommorow!   ...
