          ... to eat. We chose a seafood antipasti to share with a tomato salad (just tomatoes) – the lady looked astonished that we didn't want spaghetti and that we only wanted one dish between us. It was, in fact, very nice – octopus, clams and a white fish. We sat about in the afternoon and then had fish again for supper. We chatted briefly to an American couple who are here for next week's Swim Trek, all the others having left today.

          After breakfast we drove to the Gargano peninsula, which is a national park and is a mountainous area jutting out into the Adriatic. You can see it for a long way as you approach it, as it rises from miles of flat farmland.           With a long drive ahead of us we got up reasonably early so the day wasn't taken completely with driving. Happy Fathers Day Kerry and Dad.
