The rest of our trip will almost seem like an anti-climax, as we ended up achieving some of our aims. It wasn’t a really long walk, only about 3 miles, but it was up and down, so we got a great view across the valley. After returning the key & farewelling Sue & Ken we returned to Brockenhurst via a devious route. Sue & Ken took us to Dunham Massey an NT house which has been set up with its layout as a WW1 Auxiliary Hospital.
