    ... turn and no exits for 12 miles. Finally found a truck stop, Fray asked for help, we found a shortcut but it took 1.5hrs to get home & it was completely dark & raining the whole way. Sooo stressful. Took the shine off an otherwise great day. Didn't feel like driving anymore so walked to dinner at the Italian restaurant next door again.     Our ride across the Mohawk Trail was incredible with one very sharp hairpin turn. I briefly glimpsed a superb view but was very focused on the road at this point. Unfortunately, we did not stop for any photo ops as we were trying to make up some time.
