... a bit of sleep. The crossing wasn't too bad considering the weather and I didn't feel as sick as I thought I might. I need to master walking around on the ferry tho as I'm sure people thought I was drunk - I just couldn't get my balance properly.

Once off the ferry at Roscoff we started the 3 hour journey down to Vannes. Jim did really well with the driving, the weather wasn't great and we kept having mini rainstorms. We arrived about 6pm to the campsite we ...

... lovely walk round the lake with my neighbour only to find I couldn't unlock the door. Luckily I could open the cab door and climb in that way but try as I might the door to the habitation area remained firmly locked. It was a very interesting tour, even though we were rained on quite heavily a couple of times. We headed back to ...

... and we're ready to head off at the appointed time of 9am. Outside, it's a wonderfully cool morning with a bit of a sun shower happening. Quite a difference from yesterday, thankfully. The morning starts well, the countryside is wonderful, rolling hills but nothing too drastic. Graeme is leading this morning and not too far into the ride, he starts spending considerable time consulting the map and instructions. It appears he's geographically misplaced. ...

... far for their holidays! Time for rest, rehydrate and refreshment. Another very adequate dinner and we're ready for a recovery sleep. It all happens again tomorrow. The weather is forecast to be quite a bit cooler, 24degrees and we're only riding 55kms. We are staying at the same hotel on Wednesday and Thursday nights and there's a strong rumour of massages being available as well as a pool. I'll be very disappointed if this turns out not to be ...
