English, meaning that I said it the way I would if I was in a theatre in Canada
and not with a French accent. I’m wondering if there are viewings of American
films in English as well… but good, I expected it to be in French since I’m in
a movie theatre in France. Back to the movie, I thought the story line would be
more about magic tricks and not just a magician who was in love. BUT, the

... two nights in Stavanger and the two nights in Oslo. Although, our hosts mentioned our affordable trip might not be as inexpensive as hoped. While the tickets may have been cheap, other traveling expenses will not be. Oh well, I refuse to let such a matter get in the way of our trip. I don't know what the wifi connection will be like In such a small village, so if you don't hear from me, don't worry. I'll update the blog when I arrive in Paris on ...

... and paintings. We loved a special exhibition of Benjamin Constant (1845-1902), with exquisite paintings of scenes in Morocco and various portraits. It was all an extra bonus as admissions were free, due to a strike we think. There was also the Saint Sernin Basilica, built in the 5th century. We had lunch at a restaurant above the market in Les Halles Victor Hugo. Good value and nice food at Le Magret for €19 each for three courses. We started with rounds of toasted ...

... I really wasn't expecting much, but I was impressed by the show. It was long and varied with a lot of different songs and impressive fireworks that reflected off the water. The finale was quite fun.

We walked back toward the hotel, ready for dinner. Of course, that meant we were stuck with McDo. We both had hamburgers and small iced teas. The iced teas (2.30 Eu ea) cost more than the hamburgers (2 Eu ea). Is that strange to anyone else?
