          The drive from La Fortuna to Monteverde in the afternoon took 5 hours in all, driving around Arenal Lake. The roads were twisty at first and then extremely poor as we neared Montezuma. Arco Iris is a pleasant place to stay with newly-fitted-out rooms and lodges.

          As soon as the bus dropped me off, I started to walk around on the path of the lake. It was beautiful. The scenery was outstanding. I got to take some awesome pictures today.
