... showers! For €2 each, we could rinse off the last few days’ worth of grime. Yessir, we’ll take it! Granted, it felt a little weird for me to wander into the mens’ room (where the showers were located – apparently a large percentage of French truckers are male), but Dejo had gone first, and told me which door, so I didn’t encounter any surprises. The showers weren’t exactly sparkling, nor spacious, but they were warm and effective.

Hurray! Sunny today. Decided to cycle to Le Gois this morning ready for low tide at 9:53 to see what it was like. On the way, we saw two otters ahead of us playing on the cycle path. As we neared the causeway, we could see cars parked at the side and probably about a hundred people raking like mad on the sand. We guessed they were looking for cockles or oysters.

We decided to go north to do the bike tracks we missed out the other day, calling in to the market at La Gueriniere on the way.
