Today we traveled to Biel to BBZ, Berufs Bildungs Zentrum, to study their math and science programs.  It was very interesting!! We learned some great information about physics (if you can learn anything interesting about that!).  Students here go to school until 9th grade and then either go to another preparatory school that will lead them to their chosen career field or go to the school to learn a trade.  The school we visited, BBZ, is focused on engineering and all ...

After reminiscing with my sister Babs and brother-in-law Michel we went to friends of theirs, Sonja and Robert, for dinner which included delicious ...

... climb a small mountain that was fairly local. After hiking most of the morning we made it to the top. From there we had an awesome view of the city and other mountains. This part of the Alps is called the Jura mountains. They aren't real high, like the one we ascend at Eagle's Nest. On the way up the mountain there was another mountain bike race going on. We watch the race for a little bit, and took in the view before ...

... at the front desk had given me more restaurant suggestions, so I started with those. When I got to the end of the street, I again noticed all the tents set up in the plaza so went to have a closer look. It appeared to be some kind of Asian Street Fair, with oriental and Indian foods. There was also an Asian band playing. They weren’t too bad, but weren’t hitting all the notes properly.

I spent awhile checking out the restaurants and ...
