... eating tasters and look down into the factory and watching as workers make the cheese, is interesting to say the least. There is a heavenly bakery parallel to the factory, which offers everything you can't have in Australia. The perfect quark torte, breads of all tastes warm and fresh, the finest Swiss chocolate (it's got to be Lindt), the perfect meringue of all sizes and light fluffy handcrafted pastries which will give you an eating experience like never before. ... changed to another train to get us to Berne but at a slower rate of knots. Specially when a freight train broke down ahead of us near Lake Como and delayed us for 45 minutes. A local train to Biel and the journey of 1000 Km done in no time at all. ... to do!

Saturday was the day for exploring Bern, it is such a gorgeous city! I was lucky enough to be there with snow covering everything, which certainly makes it even prettier. We started our explore up to the ‘rosengarten’ (please note that I did get Ilona to write all the German words out for me, so that this would be totally correct!), which is a rose garden looking out over the city. Awesome in winter, can’t imagine how nice ...

    Every part of Switzerland

... elephants at the makeshift zoo, and trying to find some famous Neuchatel chocolate. After, we got on a train to Basel where we walked around the city to St. Jakob park where the local football team plays. Basel is different from all the other Swiss cities. Itäs more like an American, modern, industrial city so it was hot, stuffy, and extremely polluted.

Thats about it for today, pictures will be up as soon as I can get wifi on my tablet.
