... via bus, train, another bus… it was a long day and in retrospect I’d have planned it much differently. We had planned to go back into Paris that night to hang out, but we were just too exhausted. So instead we left our budget hotel and walked over to the Hyatt for a nice dinner and some wine. Anyway, there we ran into the same couple we’d met in Honfleur a few days earlier-small world!

Later back at the house, Bernie, Brian and Erin enjoyed eating the fresh fish Brian got at the market that morning. We grilled with 'pommes et haricots'. After super we all walked Omaha Beach watching the sun set.
