... to get to the top. It was his first real mountain climb and he wasn’t disappointed, the scenery was totally awesome with switchbacks through the woods at the bottom of the climb before getting ever steeper and slower before finally reaching the summit at 1490 metres, wow what an achievement! His best ride to date!
All in all we have had a brilliant few days, and now we are off to do some work!!

... if you wanted. There were so many religious shops selling everything religious you can think of right next to each other. There would have had to be about 100 of them in Lourdes. We also saw so many priests and nuns in full outfits strolling around. Prayers, masses, rosary and confession go all day every day. You can buy candles that are 2m high to put at the alters. You can brake sufficiently going into a hairpin (almost) with one hand while fixing your headphones (which always seem to blow off at 41mph annoyingly, not that you can hear much at that speed anyway).
