A brief stop over so that Mike could revisit Pau where he spent a month on a French exchange more than 50 years ago!<br>First we thought we should have a look at Lourdes as it was very near. It was difficult for us as dedicated athiests to understand the place. It is full of pilgrims but there did not seem to be any sense of joy. We spent a lazy day in and around our hotel, casually visiting Luz Saint Sauveur, about 10 minutes from our hotel. We also drove up to Gavarnie, the famous Cirque in the region. There weren't much in the ways of views as the mountains were in the clouds.<br> <br>  <br><br><br>

... They flash not in sequence but randomly, I felt rather travel sick. It was great to catch up with Andrei however and hear some more about his crazy adventures and mad ideas for future travels. He also aired an idea slightly closer to home. A daily competition in each city where the loser will have to do some form of street performance until they earn 2+ euros. I had another bizarre dream Saturday night. I dreamt that I was being chased by a large horned pig. I was able to outrun him for the most part, but after a few minutes of chase I tumbled on the ground and the menacing beast caught up to me. He started not stabbing me but rather jabbing my shoulder repeatedly with the blunt of his horn like an annoying little sister. The truly weird thing about it was that I felt this jabbing sensation so vividly on my left ...
