What a Fixer Upper !

... proceeded to wedged open the barriers that were preventing our exit. He then proceed to walk us all the way to the Palace - but on the way was only too glad to give us his business card for his restaurant and showed us pictures on his iPhone of the table settings. Nice Man - hopefully someone gives you a good one soon - Merci Monsieur.

I tried to get a credit for these wrong purchases but no such luck - no English attendent = ...

... of 130 steps deep underground into a narrow dark passageway which leads to a 2klm walk through tens of thousands of bones and skulls piled neatly on either side of the tunnels. It was awesome!

In the afternoon we opted to try a free walking tour of the Notre Dame area of Paris with a local guide. The tour is free and you just tip the guide whatever you want at the end. We really enjoyed it and found out plenty of things ...

... but he did give it his best shot. Did have success at Dianne Von Furstein with a beautiful navy lace dress, then a fabulous black leather jacket at Pablo on sale for 30% off!!! Couldn't leave the store without a visit to Prada and then couldn't leave without a purchase!!!! Won't bore you with the details other than to say it is fabulous!! Jeff was supposed to meet me at Prada but their quick oysters for lunch ended up being the full catastrophe ...

... we walked leisurely in the glorious sunshine along the Seine past all the little river book stalls selling awesome posters and old books and on to the hostel. Here it was definitely nap time. Refreshed and happy we decided to head for the Moulin Rouge area.
