... our trip so far. The menu offerings were classier (and pricer) as well, but the escargot and eggplant with mozzarella were excellent; and Dee's main course of chicken with morel mushrooms, which was delivered in a cast-iron pot to the table, was absolutely delicious. We both regretted the amount of food we packed-away, including a sampler of sorbets and ice cream for dessert, but promised each other we'd walk it off tomorrow!

... in a funky little alley bar. Really didn't want to eat another obligatory 3 course meal and found a little salad bar with falafel for €6 and that included a bottle of water! Where has that little gem been hiding! Then got all the way to the top of the stairs (apartment does not have a lift) (3 flights) put the stuff down to get the key and kicked the bottle and it started to roll. ... Ivry versus Nimes handball match at 8 pm, but decide the head-cold needed rest and fluids so we stay in. Good choice. Feel like a new man in the morning after 10 hours sleep and plenty to drink.

Today we woke up and got dressed straight away because we were going to Paris!!! We got on a train called I.C.E. we got there in one hour and fifty minutes.
