    ... lit of a night time, but we doubt if we can stay awake long enough to see that, as it doesn't get dark till about 10.30 - 11.00 pm. We arrived about 12.30, as we only had 65 kms to ride, and once again lunch had to wait till we had found our hotel, showered and unpacked.     ... more boats coming along. We lost our way, but just for a little way, so once again we did a few more kms than necessary. The last section of our ride today was on a country rode, and the countryside is now quite undulating. A few up hills, which is just what you want at the end of a long ride.     ... and sings in French as we go along. I don't think they are love songs though as there are lots of Bonjours, Bonsoirs and Mercis. Each bend is different, sometimes we are beside the river, sometimes the canals, sometimes vineyards, farmland etc. there are crops of corn, wheat and something else we don't know. Not many cattle, but we have seen a few Belgium blue cows, they are very big and white. The villages we pass thru are beautiful in a very traditional and historic way. ...

    We have had extremely bad internet connectivity the entire trip, therefore we have not been able to make postings of our trip. Plus, we have had such long & busy days there really hasn't been much time to work on it. Most likely, this will have to wait until we are home.
