The cuisine is well worth exploring and includes local Toulouse Sausages as well as Cassoulet, a sustaining stew made with meat, vegetables and beans which is filling as well as tasty. The kids had a fun time trying out all the play equipment with the highlight being a standing see-saw as well as dragging mum and dad into relay races over logs burried end up on the ground. We were not the only ones at the park and it seemed quite a popular spot for families even in the middle of winter.

The weather in Auckland was grotty and we realised it was a good thing we weren't flying from Whangarei - the morning fog would've cause delays - oh the stress that would've caused!

The journey was surprisingly trouble/hassle free. Olivia did have a cry for 20 minutes when I realised she hadn't picked up her jumper. I thought customs ...
