... Some of these churches were so far out of the way, you have to wonder who is trekking out there every Sunday for mass. We felt as though we were being treated to a free tour with the amount of gorgeous views we saw on our way.

Kocise is the second largest city in Slovakia, after Bratislava. However, the old-town centre is very simple to navigate and we were able to easily explore it on foot. The medieval centre is absolutely gorgeous (no hyperbole) ...

... It looked pricey, but it included the water park, sauna, and what we thought were mineral hot springs. It's the off season, so we got a deal for one night free if we stayed 2.

It was a 4 star hotel and with breakfast, dinner, the hotel, and the water park, we spent just over 100 Euros a night. That's a pretty good deal. Unfortunately, these aren't natural mineral waters. But we got over that pretty quick when ...

... 6°C we warmed up quickly. There were a lot of dead trees around, because in 2004 there was a massive tornado like storm the came through and destroyed a lot of the forest, the dead trees are still there because of the natural habitat that they provide to lots of animals and bugs. We took our time walking up, stopping and taking in the lovely views. Once we got to the ...
