... home. My town exploration kicked off with a fine cup-a-joe and apple pie.....followed by a leisurely amble though the cobble stoned Main Street popping in and out of shops to 'look see'. We have been well fed here and sampled much of the local cuisine. Smoked sheeps cheese and cranberry sauce is just about on every corner, and it's not half bad. We leave tomorrow AM for Auschwitz, and I'm apprehensively looking forward to seeing the camp, both petrified and curious. Night from ...

... the saddle I have now has a stickiness to it, which iis great. I'm wearing Mountain Hardwear pants over Pearl Izumi bike shorts, a combo I've worn many times, and which definitely slip-slides over the harder Specialized saddle I'm used to. I'm so rethinking my saddle when I get home. I considered a helmet cover before leaving, but at $30 I figured fuhgeddaboudit, we usually don't need them in Colorado. Our friend ...

... of cold that you find on a Sunday morning recovery in the bay. When it looked like I was the only one stupid enough to take the plunge I tried to throw one of the guys in. He eventually gave in and jumped in by himself and then everyone followed suit, the ladies only going up to their necks as to not get their hair wet! When we got out of the water we set up a protective circle of trust so the ladies could change into dry clothes. Naturally I forgot to bring a change of pants so I ...
