The hotel was divided into two one was the old hotel and standard rooms which were adequate and the other was the more modern deluxe rooms the dinning room was good meals at the pub were great and the restaurant meals were good as well the Sunday Roast beef was the best i have had in ages melted in my mouth

... to be the smallest ‘van’ we have seen on our trip so far…..it had to be small as she was towing it with a Mazda 2!! More amazinly was the fact that she shared this miniscule abode with a golden Labrador roughly the same size as Aero!!

... road with a stop at Kooljiman for a barramunid lunch and Beagle Bay to view their famous church. This is a white building (that in itself is amazing in this land of red dirt) which is inlaid with oyster shells, mother of pearl and other shells in a most intricate fashion. Clearly a labour of love.
Tomorrow we head for Perth and back to the cold. Lucky we have time for another trip to the beach and some time around the pool first!

Maren and I moved to the Roebuck bay caravan park (cheaper 17$ p/n incl fridge instead of 25$ a night), here I bought a 'new' tent, from a couple that was just about to leave and didn't need theirs anymore. Maren moved from one place to another, stayed a while at different caravan parks and hostels, I just stayed where I was.
My job at the Aarli - being a waiter- was quite fun, but lasted not as long as I hoped, and ...
Easy run to Barnhill Station arriving around 2 pm, checked in and got a powered site @$38 per night, because they we shady and it would give us a chance to boost the batteries. On the way we passed the Landcruiser Ray and John fixed for the locals last night, they told us about the risk of Brown snakes which are in abundance in this area. BIg Kedron ...
... The Mission do several runs a day taking the crews back and forth to their ships. This was a great tour and very informative on how the harbour operates.
