Bob is up early so that he can get to RJM Auto Electrics by 8am. I take the opportunity to do a load of washing while he is away and get first dibs on the line. ... the parade as was the Premier of QLD. After the parade we crossed the road and wandered around the carnival. Lots of food stalls and souvenir stuff. There is a good old fashioned boxing booth and the compare was very witty getting contestants to step up to try their luck against his crew of boxers. The schools were well represented with several trucks/floats from the schools, there was also the local theatre company, Mt Isa Mines, transport companies and other companies, local scouts, some welfare groups, etc. all good entertainment, and some had obviously put a lot of work into their entries.
