It's been a fairly lazy day in Mt Isa for us, mostly due to the fact we couldn't do the 2&1/2hr mining tour because it is fully booked for the next 3 days. Once again, to the children's delight, they were piled into the back of the ute and with the adults in the cabin we drove over extremely rough tracks to another set of yards where they were drafting, branding, marking and loading. ... at Wal’s campground, no need to set the caravan up so we headed into town for a look around. The town consists of not much at all, 2 small supermarkets, a couple of service stations and three pubs. We tossed a coin and had dinner at the Leichardt Pub.
