We finally came to the Forbidden Purple City within the Imperial City and toured around there. A lot of it had been destroyed in the wars of the past 60 years, but in its prime, I can imagine it being quite grand.

One Night in Hue
... Everyone seems primarily interested in commerce and making money. In this sense, the country is not dissimilar to China and in my opinion it is slightly better as they seem to be more tolerant of an open press and free speech. To be blunt, the country feels more democratic and equitable.
