We finally came to the Forbidden Purple City within the Imperial City and toured around there. A lot of it had been destroyed in the wars of the past 60 years, but in its prime, I can imagine it being quite grand.
After a good 4 hours of around there and through the city, it was back to the bus for another long, bumpy, uncomfortable trip to Hanoi!

... back out to find another tomb. We ended up at the tomb of Tu Duc which was another one that was quite developed. We stopped at a little restaurant for lunch before we went in.
