    ... ready to roll the dice on the basis of a sub-heading entitled Pannenkoeken' on the Dutch version of the menu. At any rate, after much deliberation, Erika ordered the same thing she had seen on the Dutch menu - some kind of chicken schnitzel with fries. I think they have lots of German tourists in Giethoorn so a good schnitzel is probably pretty necessary. Eventually, our food turned up.
