      Family time in the Netherlands!

... everyone was in bed and I was very ready for bed! The next day we went altogether to Hoorn to visit grandads sister, Sieny. I haven't seen Sieny in years so I was really looking forward to it. Sieny doesn't speak any English so everyone else had to help with translation. After the session, we toured the university farm. It is one farm for crops and livestock, different than MSU, where we have one farm for each type of livestock, and separate farms for crops. As our tour bus pulled in, students were taking pictures of the bus on campus. It is very rare to have a big ...

... was for no purpose – we found their place without any trouble, dinner was cooked and eaten, wine was drunk, and a good night was had by all. The only downside was the rain! It was like an Australian thunderstorm – very hot and then the thunder started, the rain came down and so did the temperature. But this meant that when we left to go home, we had to walk to the S-Bahn station in the rain.

As we had stayed longer in Poland than we had ...

... was (it said 95% beef) and what we should have done with it!

We wanted diesel and pump out which according to the almanac this marina had both. However we had not spotted either when we went shopping yesterday, so John went and asked the harbourmaster. Yes they have a diesel tank – it is sitting on the bank waiting to be installed and the pump out was working BUT they had moored a boat either side of it with their bows protruding (and they ...
