When I walked out of the supermarket the world had changed, it was like night time, the only light came from the lightning strikes and the rain was hammering down. ... up camp we took our bikes for a short ride down to the dyke to look at the sea. The sea is very flat and very shallow. The rocks were covered in small mussels and close to the harbor there were oyster beds with huge oysters. The area is a holiday destination and is fantastic for sailing, kite boarding, cycling, bird watching and hiking.

And so back to camp for a braai with cold drinks.
