          Tjapukai

A travel blog entry by juliasaga on Mar 21, 2016

This afternoon it was time for another experience, the aboriginal park Tjapukai! It was a very special place, where we learnt about Australia's history and painted our own boomerangs. The aboriginal people did a try with teach me how to throw away a returning boomerang, but I wasn’t that good at all actually. It’s even harder than it …

          Horseback-riding

A travel blog entry by juliasaga on Mar 24, 2016

I'm so sorry that I didn’t write something yesterday, but we came home late and I was very tired. So I will start to tell you about the horseback-riding that we did yesterday! We were picked up by the minibus at 9 AM, and the travel took about an hour. When we finally arrived (it was terribly hot in the car), we sat in the shadow while we …

          Trinity beach

A travel blog entry by juliasaga on Mar 22, 2016

We took the bus back into the city in the afternoon, when we felt like we had got too much sun for the day. We stayed at the shopping mall for a while, and I …

Hello! I'm so glad that I started this travel blog. I mean, how fun wont it be to look back on all the sunny days when I am back home again? It’s crazy that I have already been here for two weeks now. It feels like I arrived yesterday…

Today has been a totally relaxing and "normal" day. Or maybe I shouldn’t call it normal …

          Daintree Rainforest

A travel blog entry by juliasaga on Mar 19, 2016

Today we have been in Cairns Botanic Gardens, and walked around in the forest. We saw a lot of beautiful butterflies and flowers, and the best thing of all was the Striped Possum that I could see among the trees! When I told an Australian about my sight, he hardly believed me. Apparently, they are unusual and also shy. So I was lucky today, that's …
