FINALLY - feeling like my old self!! I thought I was losing it!! We had a nice dinner last night - it was the chef's farewell dinner...7 courses...luckily they are not into huge portions, but we thought the 5th course was the main course...the staff is so diverse and they all have their own story, and they want to tell their story, which is nice and a little to personal sometimes...I guess that is a fine ...

Before dinner we had a farewell Captains Cocktail Party on board followed by a Farewell Captain's Dinner (a 5 star 5 course dinner to die for). We awoke to some brighter skies and the hope that we might see some sun for a change - not complaining - just saying!!!

... the city hall dating back to 1200 although it has been extended twice with different architectural style. It has been rebuilt after being extensively damaged by allied bombing in WWII. The highlight was the Cologne cathedral, which is the second tallest church in Germany, is a magnificent structure. ... enjoy it, they kinda look like white alien fingers, but I must say it so was worth it. My grandmother was hellbent on getting the bloody sausage special that we waked far too long before we found this place. Shopping was the main theme for this afternoon. It's my Nan's favorite sport. After hours of going in and out of shops my arms stared to ache under the the strain of all her bags. She obviously couldn't carry them her self she is an old fragile lady with a sharp tongue ...
