... the lard/fat stuff on the table was for. <br><br>We walked around some more, past another square area. We found the famous statue of the Donkey, Dog, Cat and Rooster near the town hall. The statue is from the Brothers Grimm tale of The Town Musicians. We never made it to the harbor or to the Universum Bremen science center since we had to get back for an event in Braunschweig. It was a fun day and I will definitely go back to explore more, maybe with a better plan for the day!

So after I got back on the train to Koblenz I feel asleep and woke up right on time to get off in Bremen so things were good until I left the train station and realized it was 6 in the morning I was still practically asleep with only 4 hours of sleep in the past 36 hours and this part of town looked like a **** hole. Also my phone just died and I didn't want to spend any money on any of the food that was open at this hour. So I started to walk around ...

... cute. The centre has lots of old buildings that are pretty. It also has a area that has all little windy streets which is pretty cool. Oh yeah, Becks beer is also from this area and they have a brewery here,<br> <br> I really have just wandered around the town and rested up as I needed a bit if a break before heading up to Scandinavia in the next few days. This was a nice little town to do that in - aside from the excessive rain today it has been pretty good.

Once I bought my mug, we headed back towards the marketplace and made a stop in a place called the Schnoor where they had all these nice little shops! Some were for tourists ...

A little embarassed and recognising my weakened after state I headed straight back for the camp site. All the exitement earlier and pushing hard to make up time had worn me down. I'd covered about 50 miles. I camped and got a meal on the go. My first night under the stars in the middle of the country. This is what it's all about!
