So I can't really remember much about Hannover besides that there was nothing to see, nothing to do, the weather was bad and the campsite was overpriced! Dont get me wrong, I'm sure its a lovely place with nice weather and during the summer when the gardens are open which is where Hanovers charm is supposed to be. Wasn't our cup of tea so we moved on rather quickly. Byebye Hanover....maybe next time!
Hannover, Lower Saxony, Germany ktchris... and also one of present day Hannover. These were interesting to look at and compare the damaged city to the rebuilt city. We had to wait about 20 minutes for the elevator to get to the top. This was probably one of the scariest elevator rides I’ve ever been on. I’d much rather ride the tower of terror over and over. First the elevator was tilted towards the outside of the building and then as it moved up in changed to tilt towards the ...

The GPS is very clever, it can find the fastest route, the shortest route, fuel stops, fast food stops, ecoroute with the most fuel efficiency. We decided on the fastest route and after setting off at 1.45pm..the ETA was 7.45. We had to stop and get a bagette and a drink for lunch, losing some time..then we took the freeways, ended up going through a toll for 13 Euro in France, before long we had crossed ...

Got my luggage, 2 on wheels and 1 duffel bag. We all had to drag our luggage to the bus which was a considerable distance. This was so ...

On our way here we stopped off in Nienburg and called on Marilys and Gerd for the first time.
... Autobahn.
By this time we were about 400km down, bums were getting sore and we were sick of the Autobahn, so we decided to cut the corner and went bush following the GPS. Of course it took much longer, :) what with closed ferries and bridges, then the rain started. Out with the rain suits and we pressed on. \
We finally arrived in Hildesheim about 12 hours & ...
Arrived at Hannover right on time, nice medium size airport but even so the bags were on the carousel by the time we were through immigration, brilliant!
A quick toilet stop us like kids us older folk have to grab the opportunities when the arise, the out into the concourse to find the transfer driver holding up his Autostadt board.
After sorting out confusion about the wrong name and the wrong number of people with little German on my part and about ...

Today, classes are held once a month, glass objects of art and utility are still produced for resale in limited quantities but the essential use of the facility is as a teaching facility and museum for tourists throughout Germany. While there, we are treated as the only guests to a special showing of ...

So, her case is not looking too good right now. They are trying to decide what to do with her, potentially the might arthodese the joint (fuse it together), if they don't think they can save it. After night treatments, I went to this vet-school ...
