Our exploration in Iguassu began with an Eco –tour in an environmentally friendly electric vehicle that took us through the forest. The Iguassu National Park is home to both the waterfalls and a huge biodiversity. Our guide stopped along the way to describe the various plants and other species that live in the forest. We also did a walking …
There is a good reason why it took me a while to remember what I did on Thursday morning. We had a free morning to enjoy Sao Paulo on our own. I made plans to go with the guys to the Park and visit the Afro Brazil Museum. I woke up with a headache that morning I never made it to the museum. I must have enjoyed too many Caipirinhas on the roof top …

Outside appearances are very misleading at this hotel. It is very serious need of an internal makeover and some updating. The rooms were a bit smelly, and the bathroom needed a makeover. There was clearly plumbing issues throughout the building as we woke up in the morning to a dripping ceiling to the entrance of their dining room for breakfast. The upsides were a decent pool, sauna, game room, and gym in the common areas outside. If you're not concerned with some minor inconveniences and aren't looking for luxury, but a fairly priced hotel with a room for a night or two you could probably do worse than the Golden Tulip, but you could definitely do a whole lot better too!
