      ... the way and then discover I still had a way to go. I was furious and headed back to the busstop well and truly ****** and **** wet through. Grabbed a coffee to go and headed to Canela, a cheaper uglier village hour further.

      We landed at the next nearest airport which was two hours drive away. Our crew was able to make contact mid air with our ground crew and our coaches were able to meet us at the airport and take us to our 4 hotels in Gramado.

      We stayed in quite a nice hotel called Pousada Sonho Meu (which means Hotel My Dream), where we got a three person room (but could easily sleep 5, and Gen was ecstatic to have her own bathroom again. It was pretty cold (the coldest place wed been so far... they had had snow a couple of days before), but our hotel had heating so we were just able to survive.
