A flying visit to say a quick goodbye

I've just popped over to Malta for a day & a bit (as you do!) to say a quick hello / goodbye to my parents (and bring them lots of goodies over for the last time in a while).

The weather is a little warmer than the UK, but not as warm as it's going to be in a week's time (ha ha ha).

Anyway, I'll keep this blog short so ciao for now!

Anita x

The children are in an adjoining room so it’s all very cozy.

Our waiter at dinner is just adorable, Jay from the Philippines. ... history of Malta, and head back on the bus to the ship before 2:30.

At dinner Jenny tells us that she and nine other people were abandoned by their tour guide in Malta, so they ended up taking a cab back to the boat. I doubt the parents would have thought to do that if they were lost; we probably would have ended up yelling at each other and in the process get robbed. I am so lucky to have survived another day on this trip.

Even Further Off the Beaten Path

... It is confusing to navigate the island by bus and I hope the thrill doesn't send them into any more of a tailspin. Yes, travel can be overwhelming for some and it's interesting what different people hone in on when in a new place. Traffic lights in Malta...who knew??!!

As with anything in life all the good stuff comes with a little work, and my five buck day pass on the busses really was my ticket to unearth the Malta most will never ...

Addig is, sziasztok. U.i.: Sajnos most nem engedte a program, hogy feltöltsek képeket, de ígérem még pótolom.

We ate about 1.5 times our appetite and headed to our hotel room after checking out our hotel facilities. The outdoor pool was special with a bar on the ground. The indoor pool was actually very smart too. We got to our room and decided to complete our truncated sleep. When we woke up, the time was 1pm ...

Anyways, we just got back, we decided to switch off dinners each night between us 5... its a nice group of friends, we're all adventurous. Its Saturday night and we decided that paceville can only happen once a week because its so intense. The music literally blows your ears out. Day 2 - Mellieha

... towards St Julians. I have done a lot of running in my time so I was going to run in one direction until I thought I had enough and then about face and head back to the motel, the entire trip hopefully taking around 45 - 50 minutes. Needless to say it was a pleasurable run. There were many people walking either with other humans or their dogs, and there were quite a few joggers as well, most of them other tourists. The Maltese are not really known for their love of ...

Magnificent MALTA!

... west of the capital. Devoid of tourists, and of many locals early in the evening, I found little of particular interest to me after some five and a half hours of exploration in Valletta. Pausing to admire the light shone by the setting sun on Fort St Angelo, now covered by a big Vodafone banner, I couldn't help but think that the city reminded me a tiny bit of Havana, with maybe an even tinier bit of Dubrovnik as well. With this thought, I made my way back to the bus terminus, and ...
