... decent, but nothing special, and too crowded for our taste, despite arriving late in the afternoon. There are simply too many bodies, sun recliners, and umbrellas, though the water was still perfect for a refreshing dip, and the numerous waterfront cafes provide great locations to enjoy the shimmering blue waters over a glass of Maltese white ...

It was interesting chatting with the bartender, as the islands haven't seen any dip in tourism ...

Whoever deposited these seasoned citizens on Maltese public transportation should be tried for elder abuse. Seriously. ... On EasyJet the flight attendants are just as friendly as can be the entire flight and are constantly asking if anyone wants to buy food or drink. On British they handed out the food and disappeared for an hour. EasyJet is trendy and growing. British is stodgy and in financial trouble. Gee, I wonder why after comparing the two offerings.
