As soon as the bus dropped me off, I started to walk around on the path of the lake. It was beautiful. The scenery was outstanding. I got to take some awesome pictures today. I noticed there was a small canoe on the side of the lake, so I hopped in, and started paddling. I have to tell you, I have never been in a lake that was so calm. It was perfect weather too. No rain, just a slight breeze ...
... Brazilian food (and caipirinhas). And that's all in addition to my everyday life of watching my landlady play cards and staying up late to watch cartoons and half-do my homework. It's been wonderful. Really really wonderful.
It hasn't hit me that I'm leaving tomorrow. It really hasn't. I've packed everything I own, said good bye to my host, my university and my classmates, and moved out of São Paulo, and it still hasn't clicked that ...
Today was the earliest day of the entire trip, and very rough in terms of having a late night last night and needing to get up early today. Luckily we had about a 2 hour bus ride from Sao Paolo to the nearby city of Sao Jose dos Campos in which I did not see much on the way there because my eyes were closed most of the way.

My musical selection has kept me satisfied, specially during the 6-hour long drive from Curitiba to São Paulo, and another 1:30h from there to SJC. So I guess thats less of a worry.
I just managed to keep myself entertained by drawing on my moleskin. Apart from that, there wasn't much to do on the bus as beside me a 13 year-old boy was just listening to his music and reading a book. I also tried to catch up ...
