Walking along the streets it was like a minefield of dog poo, had to keep our heads down to spot them. Watched the fish markets packing up for the day, after a good morning of trade. Went past a popular statue of a Greek Olympian being devoured by a Lion, his Olympic cup cast down.
Had a lazy morning soaking up the sun. decided to spoil our selves and enjoy some vegemite and cheese toasties for brunch. This may seem basic but when living on a travelling budget this becomes luxury! Realising we were right on a coastal point with ocean either side of us, we went for a stroll around the area. By the time we took off it was mid afternoon, drove further along the coast before parking up for the night in Gemenos.

I ventured about 100 meters into the shopping district to get a phone sim card and a collector pin and some dinner and then headed back to the Hostel. I didn’t feel safe going any further into the shopping district, there was a film of smog lingering ...
