    Cannes...what can I say?

    I arrived at almost 10pm on Sunday after a seven hour train ride that was supposed to be five. We were stopped on the tracks for over an hour in Toulon due to an accident. I had purchased a 1st Class ticket thinking that five hours would be great in the same style as the train from Amsterdam. Think again. There were no free drinks and served meals. There was no wifi.     ... found markets near the city center. There were hundreds of fruit, vegetable and souvenir vendors. Next, we just decided to chill on the beach---there was sand! I was with some of my akpsi brothers so we just reminisced on this summer and life..such great heart to heart conversations! :) At around 7pm we got on our train and headed back to Metz!

    ... fortification. We then realised (I googled) that the view from Eze was famous and was accessed from the garden at the top, so agreed to pay the euros to get in. The American gentleman, Rhys, who spoke French, wrangled us all in as students so it was only 2.50 euros each. The view was indeed, spectacular.
