We had a bit of a late start to the day today as we were all a bit tired from our adventures yesterday in Nice and Monaco followed by Eileen's birthday dinner in Biot.

When we finally got moving, we decided to head to Cannes and check out where the celebrities go for the Cannes Film Festival. We took the costal road from Antibes to Cannes which was another spectacular drive overlooking the Mediterranean. Cannes is another beautiful town on the Riviera which ...

The theme of the fireworks was a circus! It felt like a circus expect no clowns, elephants, or acrobats; just the fireworks. I loved it! Now every Independence Day I will wish that the US would take a hint from France and make their fireworks displays more entertaining. The possibilities are endless!

And Paul enjoyed ogling the boats and constant parade of expensive cars: Ferraris, Bentleys, Lamborghinis - virtually all the expensive super cars you can expect with porsches basically a bit ...

... by accident because we were aiming for the Italian place next to it, but chose the pub because it wasn't going to force us to have a 4 hour 3 course lunch.

On Saturday, we got a coach bus tour of London and saw everything. Our tour guide was very thorough and efficient. We were in and out of the bus in minutes: just enough time to get pictures and a quick explanation. We didn't get to go into any of the monuments, but we ...
