... on the highway! By the time we realized where we were headed it was too late to turn around and we were following an old man that seemed to have no problem being on the highway on his flimsy pedal bike! Needless to say, we found a different route back to Colmar!

Great weekend, definitely glad I've gotten the chance to explore more of the beautiful country I live in. There is so much to see here, I find it hard to go anywhere else!

... the girls had some one on one time and the boys headed into Saverne to report the stealing of the phone to the Gendarmerie. Thanks to our friend Thierry in Montauban, he made contact with the Gendarmerie before we visited and arranged for an English speaking officer to meet us and take our report. We really cannot thank Thierry enough for all the help he has given us during our visit.

What a glorious sunny and clear day today was. Roy took on the role as tour guide for our afternoon exploration of the nearby town of Saverne, which is about 20km from Haselbourg. Saverne is one of the larger towns in the area and boasts a beautiful main street with half-timbered houses which provides a very Germanic look and feel.
