    ... the large Lake Annecy and appearing to dissect all over the town. It really is a wonderful place potentially only spoilt by the masses of tourist flocking to the area during the summer period - I guess that also includes people like us.

Not only was the Chateau closed for security reasons, but the large museum was closed for renovations, and the famous elephant statue was being renovated as well and the elephants didn't exist. At least they made a joke of the fact they were without the 4 w/o butts by making signs with large elephant butts.
