... It was halal food and the stews were so good. One was lamb with lentils and the other chicken with olives, potatoes and carrots. So nice. I'm glad we found this place because its convenient and great winter food for my wife.
Nothing interesting otherwise except I noticed lots of police and more cameras whilst driving. I never really noticed them before, so I think its likely I probably have a bunch of speeding fines waiting for me...oh well.
6:05pm Okay so that was too close for comfort. Remember what I said about writing the dates on your railpass in pencil in order to erase them and get more dates? Yeah, well, disregard what I said. Apparently, if somebody notices you've written it in pencil and knows the rules regarding the dates having to be written in ink, they will try to fine you 170€, which is the equivalent of $226 according to my currency converter ...

While on the motorway I came up behind a Dutch caravan which started to snake at 70mph. t got to the stage where there were puffs of smoke coming from the tyres as it jumped from side to side.
The driver managed to bring it under control but was very, very lucky.

On our last fuel stop before reaching Tournus the sat nav said that we had 48 miles to go which was good to see. The motorway split into two, the sat nav failed to inform me and before I knew it we were heading for Grenoble.

This is out last day of travel as we meander our way along the sleepy river coming across the occasional fisherman or family camped in the river banks enjoying the 30 something degree summers day.
