This hotel was fine. The rooms were very nice and clean, but the halls were noisy with people standing talking loudly. The food in the restaurant was pretty average

At last, after 36 hours constant travel, we have arrived in Belfort (via Auckland, Singapore, and Zurich). What a mission. Biggest effort was trying to keep 3 already sleep deprived kids awake and entertained for 6 hours in Singapore airport ( between 10.30 pm and 4.30 am NZ time). 24 hours without sleep -both boys fell asleep while waiting to …
We all managed to sleep 11-13 hours last night - now the ground has almost stopping moving and we feel vaguely normal again.

It's been really nice making up for lost time with her, she's fab - Scarlett has matured and is sensible and responsible - great qualities to have, and Gen has matured too, more independent than ever now, ...
We were speaking to some English people a few days prior to heading to Mulhouse, they had recommended it as a place to stay as it had the National Motor Museum of France there - there was a little confusion as to where the place was as we had already seen the area on the map and were heading in that direction, the issue was we referred to Mulhouse as Mole-House, the couple we spoke to (could speak French) pronounced it Mul-ooose, the correct way!
We arrived on site at ...
... all now safely covered, water level checked etc.)and tidy up! We intend leaving Casa del Norris as immaculate as we found it.
Once again a huge, huge 'Thank you" to the Norrises for lending us their home; it was lovely. The attached photo shows it at its idyllic best.
Leaving for the UK via Brussels to see OMA in Weston Super Mare and then onwards to Mayo where the next posting will come from - July 21.
