This hotel was fine. The rooms were very nice and clean, but the halls were noisy with people standing talking loudly. The food in the restaurant was pretty average

At last, after 36 hours constant travel, we have arrived in Belfort (via Auckland, Singapore, and Zurich). What a mission. Biggest effort was trying to keep 3 already sleep deprived kids awake and entertained for 6 hours in Singapore airport ( between 10.30 pm and 4.30 am NZ time). 24 hours without sleep -both boys fell asleep while waiting to …

Overall we had an excellent time, saw some new interesting places, and were very good riding pair.

... our first stop for the day. This is meant to be one of the prettiest towns in France so it will be good to see if it lives up to its name! Yes it did! A lovely medieval town. Lots of old forts in the Lorraine area because of its proximity to Germany. This town retains the old fortress walls. Unfortunately the castle was closed for renovation. While in town there was a medieval motorcycle rally come through, well most bikes ...
