Another fun-filled day, starting with our first time using the tram system. The trams run all over the city, are faster than buses, cheaper than taxis and a great way to get around easily. Once we figured out the right tram numbers and directions, off we went!

Late in the morning Carla and Marcel took us for a drive to see their boat. Marcel had been working to replace rotten boards which was interesting to see. I enjoyed a nice conversation with the attendant at the museum cafeteria. I was asking him how to say a few phrases in Dutch and he complimented me on my willingness to try. The Dutch are proud at how tricky their language is for those that speak ...

... The restaurants hours are a bit odd as well in as much as they offer no dinner service on Fidays. Perhaps we are all supposed to fast that day!
We were directed to an area of 4 restaurants within a five minute walk for the hotel.
Since we had sat for so long, our bum cheeks were numb, we opted to go for a walk and do some reconnaissance. True to what we were told, we located a choice of Japanese, Itailian, Indian, or Family.
