I don’t think I ever mentioned, but the city of Berlin is not really very interesting. It was heavily bombed during WWII so it’s very modern. ... VERY painful. Overall Amsterdam was awesome, so beautiful and lots of fun. Most of the people spoke English which made it really easy. The weather was also really nice, bout 8 degrees (which is now nice for me... Weird!) But we are expecting much colder as we continue into Europe! Great first stop on our tour and contiki is really well done. Our tour manager and driver seem to be going above and beyond and really are making sure we get the most out of everything! Next stop ...

Day five of our big trip started out on KLM flight 0810 from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam, where we enjoyed one of the most delicious aeroplane dinners I have ever had from the comfort of our premium Economy seats that we had treated ourselves to for 260 Euro during check in.
