    ... feel part of this beautiful Dutch suburbia. Eventually, we went in to a cafe we had looked up earlier and enjoyed some Dutch beer. We know that coffee shops sell weed and cafés sell coffee, so we avoided the smoky coffee shops down the path, and their cheap laced food. I got dark beer, while Nic chose light. We shared a goats cheese salad (not Gouda, but our favourite European meal) and then both got burgers- mine salad, Nics beef. ...

    ... town and from central station we caught a train to Zaanse Schans a area famous for working windmills! First I tried the vending machine hot food thing which is famous in Amsterdam- put in €2, the door opens and you take the hot food (in my case a chicken burger) from inside- bloody amazing!

    Late in the morning Carla and Marcel took us for a drive to see their boat. Marcel had been working to replace rotten boards which was interesting to see.     ... adventure I ever had in my entire life. I never had so much fun. More than anyone has done before. I am so blessed to see this country".
