We are going to be travelling in a BMW 520 SED from Bristol all the way to Warsaw. The reason of this travel is well to see new places we've never been to and to basically enjoy the travelling around our old Europe. I'm also a big fan of history, especially the old GDR and WWII's Germany, so I know I'm going to like this!

... for every car. There was a parking garage near Amsterdam Central. A bigass parking garage. For bicycles. Yeah. Also unrelated: Dutch women are hot. And they speak English pretty much fluently. Just saying.
I stayed in Noordwijk (pronounced "noord-vike"), a beachside town about an hour outside the city. My hostel was about 100 meters from the beach. It was badass.
The first thing I did once I checked into my hostel (a train and a bus away from Amsterdam Central) was jump into a ...

The Bhutanese still believe in their own version of the Yeti - the Migoi which differs from the Tibetan Yeti. Differences include having the ability to make themselves invisible.
Yes, I am going to ask the obvious......anyone seen one???
... usually brick or black, brown and tan with all sorts of 16th, 17th & 18th century designs. Some really old **** that looked really well preserved. The canals would soon be closing so we had to jump off the boat because the Gay Pride parade was about to dominate the canals.
Since every family waits anxiously for the big day here-- the Gay Pride Day. As we waited for the floats at the edge of the canal, I was watching a bunch of ...
... something very soothing and magical about being in the middle of the ocean with a flat, blue landscape stretching out for miles in all directions. Jokingly, I refer to cruises as vacations for the dumb and lazy (of which we are neither.) We love traveling from country to country and port to port (as long as the countries and ports are interesting) without having to move our luggage or do any ...
Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands thumbunDay Seven - Sea Day After being up so late last night, we chose to sleep in today. Managed to pull ourselves out of bed at 11:30, and then went in search of food. We ended up having a pretty decent Italian-themed meal at the Buffet. After lunch we went back to the room with the purpose in mind to sit on the balcony and have our Danish cheese and crackers. It was so cold and windy that we decided against that. Then we thought we should start ...
Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands simru12... get in and out of our room... simply detail. For our last night in this hotel, we had to switch rooms and then we only had to climb 58!!! After our 15 hour bus ride and after hiking trough the small center of Amsterdam to find our hotel we took a well deserved rest for a few hours. Later we did book a trip to the Keukenhof Gardens (one of the famous gardens in Amsterdam) for the following day and then had a walkabout. Now ...
Amsterdam, Netherlands jarrettalaneOkay... So I figured I'd start this thing because at the moment I have nothing better to do, and I keep sending the same stories to different people and type them out too many times.. SO.. instead I'll give this webpage out to everyone to read about my crazy adventures. Alright.. so on the 15th of September (saturday) we landed in Amsterdam at 10:00 AM approximately.. amsterdam time, that is. We only got maximum 2 hours of sleep on the plane so we were incredibly tired when we first ...
Amsterdam, Netherlands romanuck_At the ticket counter, at Kansas City International, a nice young man told us our bags would be meeting us in London. We were happy to hear that re-checking them in Chicago was not necessary, but if we had known what we know now, we would have yelled, "How do you know that? That's just what you think and we're not taking any chances on a guy who works for Delta. It's Delta!" But instead we said ...
