      Yesterday we took a field trip to the French Alps. It was by far the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and I had one of the best days of my life there! I never truly understood why everyone was so in awe over the mountains (all of them, not just the Alps) until I got to see the sunrise come up over the tips while climbing up the side of the mountain range.       ... hill, so much so that I ended up walking down that hill and picking up from there (I have awful form but my method was working most of the day). When I made it back down the hill and stopped, I decided it was time to stop doing things that could potentially hurt me and my clumsy self so I took my skis off and sat down in the town for awhile to just enjoy the scenery.

I was forced to have a return visit to the Doctor for more "mootie" as the Africans call medicine and so went off to do that with the intent to catch up to the group a little later in the morning. We can stay pretty well connected by messages on our cell phones.       ... in order to breathe. It has spread to the group unfortunately but from the coughing on the buses and the long lines at the pharmacy we are not the only ones.
      One of the experiences on offer is a flight above the Alps in a powered hang glider and the views are spectacular. It takes off from the top of one of the runs on skis and a very short runway. We all watched petite Tanya and the pilot take off for a 20 minute flight and it cleared the ground no worries climbing ...
