We have had another action packed day today! We began by learning the Haka from a passionately traditional Maori named Tiki. Not only did we learn the meaning behind this well known war cry, we learnt the words and the actions as well. The path passed through a forested area and as we walked the smell of sulphur (for the children reading this, a bad eggs smell) grew stronger and stronger. ... a troop of Goblins would stamp up the path towards us, out from the dark. The we reached a dead end..and a boat! A small inflatable dinghy...with fourteen tightly packed aboard. Our guide then shoves off into the dark and asks us to turn all the lights out...and not speak. We sit spellbound for twenty minutes. All is black and ever so slowly vision returns. The ceiling is littered with millions of glow worms...maggots in fly catching nets in reality. ...

... out. It's amazing to think they are all naturally occurring. There were even some muddy water ones boiling away. The final pool was massive, you could walk around it following a specific path. Sometimes I couldn't even see the other side due to the steam rising from it. We finished the day wandering round a few shops before heading out in the evening for a couple of drinks.
